Title: ISO: Sheath for a Swisschamp or Champ Plus. Must be belt clip, no belt loop!
Post by: sir_mike on October 28, 2018, 08:53:08 PM
As stated in subject, I am looking for a sheath to hold a Swisschamp, Champ Plus or maybe an Explorer and Light combo.  Must have a belt clip and not a belt loop setup!  Trade for or buy outright!

Let me know what you have and how much!  I am in Michigan 49685.

Thx.

This is an S shield.

Belt clip:

With Champion:

With Swisschamp:

Here is a loadout I frequently carry with a AAA flashlight, prybar, extra cash and a CT34, which is the same width as the Champion:

You will need an M shield or larger for that.

The Swisschamp will fit in the M shield too, yes?
The difference is mainly that the M shield is deeper, I think.

Edit: apparently, the M shield is not as “thick” as the S shield. 0.75” (M shield) vs 1” (S shield), because multitools are thin. I dunno if the Swisschamp will fit now. :dunno:

I don't know either, but I would suspect they would fit.  My only other Skinth is an L Shield, which is the same "depth" as the S.

Here is my L shield with a SwissChamp.
There is more than enough slack to put an AAA light in one of the side pockets, but not enough slack to put something as big as an AAA light in the other pocket.

Stop the presses!
I was able to squeeze in a mini sharpie.
All nice and snug.
And you can still put something big and flat in the front pocket, like a Prybar.

Thanks all for the comments and pics.  Looks like I will have to figure out exactly what I want to carry in one so I can get the right size!  I don't really want to buy two or three of them!  :)
