Title: Climber cap lifter test
Post by: Lynn LeFey on November 03, 2013, 12:31:14 PM
I have noticed a considerable decrease in how well the cap lifter works on beer bottle caps with the number of caps opened per evening. I have to assume this has to do with there being some kind of 'charge' powering the cap lifter, because the next evening, on that first cap, it seems to work fine again.

More testing is required.

I am glad you have been brave enough to tackle this very serious topic Lynn.  I too have noticed the way later in an evening the cap lifter has the ability to miss the bottle completely. :-)

I think this is a test I will have to witness first hand.

No matter what bottle opener you use, by the end of the night, the bottles will not be as easy to open.

This has more to do with the consumption of beers than because of the bottle opener itself.

I see how that could happen.

You have to find larger bottles then. Or the ones with more alcohol content. :drink:

I've replicated this test, and successfully duplicated the results. The man is right, it's scientifically demonstrable.  :drink:

Just be careful it doesn't happen to you in real life. ;)
