Title: Really bad copy from discoverybuying
Post by: dks on May 10, 2016, 06:46:01 PM: I got this as a joke/costume jewelry, to see what the quality was like.. They are advertised as really brilliant

anyway, it is a bad joke. they are usually about $16 to $24. I went for the quartz version.

It looks OK, from a distance.

The crown, on the crown is painted on

The metal bracelet was scratched a bit, and it fell and looked really cheap.
Then the clasp broke...
The bezel works, and it seems to keep OK time (so does my <$1 Gemius Army)

The lens is plastic

the face is not smooth, t seems like it was painted with a brush.... fingerprints inside.. the one on the GA is a lot nicer.

the bezel works (unidirectional, 60 clicks), but it has yellow painted numbers- not gold.

the screwback can be unscrewed by hand - no gasket.

The cased is OK.

better than a "Tag" I got in Thailand in the nineties, but not hugely.

I binned the bracelet and put it on a leather strap from a Soviet Gruen. It looks better now.

Summarising, do not bother.

Wait a minute.......in your watch photo you have hairy black arms......but in this other picture of you your arms are hairless.....What gives dks?
