It is small but was built with a lot of effort, specially because 99% of them I can´t find in Brazil, so need to import all of them. I just love this hobby!!!
There are other 4 on the mail (3 Alox and 1 soldier model 1891) :D
-
two more...
-
nice collection. I collect SAKs as well. but my collection has nothing on yours and I live in the US.
-
Hi Twbranch, it is much easier for you to find cool SAKs being in US. You are lucky and you don´t know... :tu:
-
Thanks for sharing your collection. You have many I would like to own. They're so limited though, you need to have the funds available when they become for sale...
-
You're welcome sawman, about the funds, you are right, recently I had to let some pass (like the last Alox in ebay) due to extremely high values. The good point is that some sellers are really friendly and let me split the payment sometimes. This helps a lot!

Very nice collection! I especailly love the ones with the writing on the blades and the damascus ones! :tu:
I have seen plenty that I would liked to pick up over the years but just didnt have the $$$$ when the deals came up most of the time!

Excellent, beautiful selection so far! Best of luck to continue to expand it! :tu:
I do not normally frequent this forum and I missed this discussion thread for a while.
There are so many pieces there to simply  over.
Don't feel bad about the import part, most of us do the same, more or less. What's that 1% in your collection so far that you could find locally? (even more interesting if you aren't yet at 100 SAKs :)).
Congrats!
-
Amazing collection Dude.. 8) 8)

quality pieces are amazing, surprising how pleased I am with a 25 year old beat to hell SAK.
but budget does affect what you get
-
Updated :D

Your Alox collection is very  worthy. I only wish that I got into collecting these a few years ago. Unfortunately I didn't get into it until these last few releases of Limited Alox (First Mates and the Sea Pioneers). Your photos are giving me a bad case of the Alox Pox!!!
Super impressive collection.. :tu: :tu:

Some nice additions!
Can we see a bigger view of the whole boxes? They look interesting in your avatar. :tu: Where did you get them?
-
Excellent updates! :tu:
Yes, please show us more of your nice storage solution.

Thank you guys, :tu: here is a larger picture of the box, I can change the internal divisions as needed, is a wooden box with glass on the top. It is handmade bought locally here in Sao Paulo -Brazil.

I fell your pain, Maré Vermelha is over and still haven't got my MT's

Oh man, I reduced a lot my buying rate :) (specially now that the limited alox are gone) and the dollar here is getting more expensive everyday, I need to choose well what to buy. ;)
These boxes cost around 70 uSD but I can split payment, so it is affordable....
-
The knifes are all very nice, but I really like the display case.

Love the display case! Whoever makes them do a great job it appears.

Here it is, as I mentioned is a GAK. The photos are not so good as I took them some time ago and photo taking skills were not so good, I have improved a little bit, so might need to take new ones.
