Suggest you look at the what fixed blade are you carrying thread and at the fixed blade challenges.

I generally want something for Bushcraft/Camping or all-around hard work (nothing for EDC).

Under 20 inches will do.

You can get them in a few different sizes and blade profiles. I have an Izula II, and I love it, but you won't go wrong with any of them. And unless you add accessories like a MOLLE mount and/or spring for the mess tin survival kit, all should come in at under $200.
