I got the cadet, thinking it might be the same colour as my brass olight. Well, it isn't, so I'll leave last year's in my pocket pouch and keep 2019 in its box. I just prefer the Berry red to this one.
How cool would it be if Victorinox made some Cadets and Pioneers with solid brass or copper scales? I know, it'll never happen. But it would be nice!

Maybe the bronze cadet is closer to brass? It’s darker than the ‘19 edition. But I guess more bronze than brass  :think: maybe patina brass...

The blade of the 2019 Alox Limited Edition knife has NO reverse tang stamp.
Does anybody know why? is it standard with all 2019 produced blades or only with this limited edition?

None of my LE's from the last few years, including Nespressos have reverse stamps so it's not just 2019  :dunno:

As a warranty return, Victorinox sent me a standard Pioneer that did not have the reverse "Swiss Officer" stamp. I guess it's a way to cut costs?  I presume it is 2019 production;

You are right, the 2019 Pioneer has no stamp on the back of the blade.
I made a mistake with the 2018 , I took the Cadet instead of the Pioneer so the pics are from the Cadet. :hatsoff:
