I understand that it is not for climbing because then you had to add an safety wheel so the lock bar could not disengage but this would be an pain in the ass in every day use and would probably harm your sales. So i agree with that.

It sure looks cool and i am pretty sure it will have a solid feeling to it.
I don't know what the retail price will be but from my perspective the perfect price would be 40 dollars/ euros. Not higher because then you will probably only sell to carbiner collectors and i am not sure if there a lot of those walking on planet earth.
Of course that will be difficult with all the high end materials.
But for 40 dollar/ euros i definitely think this will be an succes.

You already have spring in there, so add rocker with short lever and that is it.

Thanks Crow, Ill look into this again. I love the idea of a lock and will look into it further....but it seems most people don't really care about it...still I need to research it more.

I saw those and bought a couple...it was a little flattering but the result was pretty bad and still 15$ on Amazon, which is pretty steep for edc gear knock offs. Thanks for mentioning it.
