Thanks  Gary. I use the file on Phillips more than I expected and the clip point blade is also my preference. Thankfully there are enough on the used market that I don’t have shop for a modern version.

   I figured it was the lighting.  I actually would prefer for Victorinox to make the big blades with a clip point.  The small clip point was great and that square phillips....?  Yummy.  Seems like friend Aztec had a very similar one in red cellidor.  Best wishes.  Gary

The big blade has a normal original profile. Combination of some glare and reducing the photo size perhaps. The add inlay is for a company that specializes in camera bags, if my memory is working today.

‘’75 STOCKMAN, provides 3 blades, the Warncliff is expected to handle any assigned cutting chores today, but then there is backup via the other 2 chuncks of steel😉

Like Jeff, I needed my Explorer Philips to fix a toy. Best reason to carry a SAK with Phillips.  I too was surprised it fit the first time I tried it. The

I can’t carry my Micra without getting it confiscated, so it’s hanging out in my hotel room ordering room service.

Day 21

Yet another radio set.

I'm sure some of y'awl are thinking "what the smurf is up with this guy and his radio sets?" Well, I'm in the process of downsizing, de-cluttering, and simplifying. The radio set seen here will hopefully soon be gone, so I had to pop the back off to access the battery compartment.

The set is in proper working order. The gentleman who has first dibs may pass on it. He's not the type to take something he wouldn't have a need or want for just because it's free. If he passes, no big deal; off to eBay it'll go.
