Title: How scratch resistant are SAK translucent scales?
Post by: american lockpicker on September 04, 2009, 08:01:33 PM: I'm looking at getting a translucent wenger. Are the scales scratch resistant? Which ones are more resistant Vic or Wengers?

Post by: ICanFixThat on September 05, 2009, 01:12:58 AM: The red semi translucent "digital" scales seem quite scratch resistent. I'm not sure they are Cellidor, I have a feeling they are a Nylon or other composite derivative. Maybe it is just their textured surface I'm not sure. The standard transparent Ruby/Saphirre/etc. seem to be worse than the standard Cellidor which does not look too back with some scratches.
