I'm looking at getting a translucent wenger. Are the scales scratch resistant? Which ones are more resistant Vic or Wengers?
-
Very same same. Brasso works on both for getting scratches out though.
-
Yep, neither are particularly scratch resistant sadly :-\
-
The red semi translucent "digital" scales seem quite scratch resistent. I'm not sure they are Cellidor, I have a feeling they are a Nylon or other composite derivative. Maybe it is just their textured surface I'm not sure. The standard transparent Ruby/Saphirre/etc. seem to be worse than the standard Cellidor which does not look too back with some scratches.
-
I don't think they are any more likely to scratch but it certainly shows up more. :-\ As Neil said, a bit of Brasso works wonders. :tu:

Stop being such a bloody bunch of wimps! ::) :D It's a sodding tiny scratch on a handle of a tool.
