Title: Help needed: Dutch 'PTT' knife(?) from Herder Solingen, Germany
Post by: EMZ on June 12, 2019, 11:25:24 PM: Okay, I know, it's not a SAK, but a German knife (is it?) for the Dutch PTT (Post, Telegraaf & Telefonie). The PTT was a governmental company responsible for the postal, telegraph and telephone services.
The tool is dated 1986.

It is not in my possession. It is being offered for sale on the internet.

Does anybody know what kind of tool/knife this is?? What's the purpose of it?

Looks as if it's made to cut straps or packing materials but with an edgeguard.
