Title: Painter's cheeful MT
Post by: rishardh on April 28, 2016, 08:23:04 AM: My Allways painter's scraper is over 10 years old and has served me well. When I was looking for a replacement to my surprise they had a 14 in 1 version which of course I had to get.

It's a bit bigger than what I had, the usual shape, cut outs for other uses, nice grippy rubber handles with a bit holder at the end and comes with flat and philips bits that stores in the handle... all which I like. To make it sweeter it was only $5.97. A truly cheap and cheerful little tool.

Later I was getting my painting stuff together and came across the little paint can opener you get for free and my MT radar went off again. A one piece MT I never knew I had :ahhh

+1 :rofl: My 10 year old tool looks like new in comparison. Love to see beaten up tools. You know they've had a good life.

:D too bad you've never seen the painter's tools I have after 10 years in the business. That one's practically brand new!

Or where many of them are. I have so many they are liberally spread out amongst the garage, house, basement and various toolboxes.

Post by: WoodsDuck on May 04, 2016, 05:46:07 PM: I don't currently own one of these, but having used loaners on various projects I will agree they're definitely worth the few bucks you have to drop to get one. And of course the best thing about dirt cheap tools is you don't worry about using them too roughly or losing them :tu:
