Title: Aftermarket Charge TTI pocket clip?
Post by: huskers on March 07, 2019, 07:23:01 PM
Anyone know of a place I can get an aftermarket pocket clip for the charge TTI? By aftermarket, I mean made by someone other than leatherman.

Sick and tired of spending money on these junk leatherman clips. Seems like I go through at least 2 a year.

:iagree: Welcome Huskers! I've always got on alright with the pocket clip... It's better than the smurfing rediculous lanyard ring that comes with it!

I wear mine everyday and it gets a ton of use. All the new ones I've received need bent slightly because they don't hold the tool tight.  Seems like any time a barely snag it on something, it just snaps.

So tired of paying for these things.

That's strange. When I used to carry a Wave with clip, I kabab'd my hand more than have any issues with the clip. I wonder if there has been a shift in the quality? My clips are well over five years old. Interesting.

When you bend the clip you stress it, then when it snags it bends back against the stressed point and breaks.
Heat the clip to red while bending then drop into water.

Thanks, I'll give that a try if there is a next time.
