Hey MTO!
I just started a new vlog with hopefully regular videos about how I make stuff. Since this first episode deals with making a plexiglass slingshot so it belongs here!
Enjoy!

Really Metro? Seriously? Now I have to choose between a Skinth or a slingshot for this months "discretionary purchase". Here I was, almost ready to buy a Skinth after many hours of deliberation. I'd narrowed my choices down to 2. While staring out the window trying to come to a decision, I watched the squirrels trying to tear their way into my garden shed again and I thought "I'd better do something about that". Then you go and post that vid and link to your new site and I'm like, WTF?!?!?! I have to choose now between the Skinth or a limited edition Marmoset FB? And soon!
You don't make it easy. Well, actually you do. But that is why it isn't easy. Because I want both. But I can't have both. So I have to choose. Soon or now...
Darn you! :)

Just watched the vid :salute:
Kudos to you metro, some work involved there. I'm green with envy on what I suspect is a CNC laser. Have you built that?? Indeed have you built any of the CNC machines. I'd love a 5 axis CNC router
Often considered building a router copy jig. But never got going.

Get the Marmoset, I won't be making more of those for quite some time :) That easy enough?

Yup, all laser etchers/cutters are CNC. They need to be otherwise it wouldn't work. It's an Universal Systems 150W laser, my favourite tool. I haven't build any CNC machines but have access to a 2.5 axis, a 3 axis and a 7 axis robot arm. I haven't used them for any projects but they'll get some use when I get my hands on a manual.
