I would like to go. I've been there twice before, and it was very nice, with many custom knife makers, shop stands, demonstrations and more. I bought my first damacus knife at the first DKE, and a great deal it was. The second time there was a Japanese man demonstrating the art of sharpening and polishing the traditional way, which was great to watch.

That would be really cool to see.  I wish I could go, but sadly it is a bit too much of a trip for me at the moment!

Some of the best Dutch custom knife makers will be there.

I can't afford to buy their knives but I like to watch!

The affording part is something I have always struggled with as well!  :D
