Title: atwood tools
Post by: jim guy on December 08, 2009, 07:56:33 AM
what is the big fuss over atwood tools? I have a couple coming in that unsub kindly traded to me. Granted i have never owned any before and im sure i will find out why they are in such high demand after i get my hands on them. Im not putting them down, just wanted to no what every one thought about them. I think them being so hard to come by was my reason for wanting them, thank you unsub for trading with me!

You're welcome Jim!   You will see when you get them what all the fuss is about. The G3 Prybaby I traded you is about as good as it gets for a keychain size pocket tool. Atwoods always hold their value, so if they're not for you you can always sell or trade them.  :tu: I'm willing to bet that you wont trade that G3 but I could be wrong.  ;)

Atwood/Pocket Tools are a thing where you either like them or you don't. I carry a G3 prybaby lately and use it for a variety of tasks that come up throughout the day that a multi would sometimes do. Peter has great attention to detail and his tools are very good. Some folks get hooked on them and then they go crazy buying them and other folks get one and don't see what it's all about. Check them out and let us know what you think, always nice to hear another person's opinion on a product.

Jim Guy,

I'm really interested in reading your impressions too.  I like them on several levels but I can see how someone who's just looking for a working tool, may not be too impressed.

Definitely update this thread!

Hey Jim I'll save you the trouble.  You won't like them so don't bother opening the package
I'll just send you a stick on label and you can forward them off to me for disposal.  :D
I haven't an Atwood but they sure are neat looking gadgets.  Handy if you can lanyard it
somehow and make it a permanent carry somewhere.
The few times I've been on his site he is all sold out.  No surprise I'm sure.  :)
I'll wait until I can get my hands on a Shard.
