I somehow lost my pin for my Explorer. I had this one and tried it and voila. I think I'll run it like this for now and see how it goes.

I lost the pin a while back and went straight to my sewing supplies. Pretty much any straight pin I tried will work! :tu:

I did have a "hard" time getting the pin out before. My glove like hands dont help much :whistle:. This pin is much easier to remove and use. I didn't realize how much I used the pin.

I didn't realize how much space is available between the pin head and lower twist of the corkscrew until I saw your first photo! :tu: :like:

Clever solution to your dilemma. It might help something I noticed with my Ranger, where the pin works itself out by a fraction of an inch.
