I see Buck is trying another shot at the multi-tool business with their newest release the BUCK X-TRAC.
Its Chinese made and looks like a combo of Wengers Mini Grip and one of Leathermans new knives, retail at 49.99 but the knifecentre hasem for 29,99.
Since its Chinese made I will stay away unless I can trade for one someday........

Funky. It actually looks like something else I saw recently... I am trying to remember what it was, but the only thing coming to mind is Aitor. I dunno, it looks interesting at least.

I've been trying to find one of these for a couple weeks now... all the online stores say they are on back order. Anyone know what's going on?

They probably rushed them to the market with only a fraction of what they needed so they could try to meet a deadline created by someone with an unrealistic plan.
Meanwhile, someone else was probably promoting them, and there just weren't that many to go around. Either that, or pruduction is behind schedule and there aren't any available at all.

That happens all the time. The Vic LED flashlights that I ordered from Vic took 6 months to get. Their advertising starts way in advance and it puts us dealers in a crunch between supply and demand.
