I like to collect SAKs which have unusual tools. So I was after a Wenger Matterhorn http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Matterhorn (http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Matterhorn)
I found some available on US sites but they are not allowed to ship Wenger knives outside of the US. I then tried a Swiss site and they came back with the news that they can't supply me with one because they are not made in Switzerland but in the US! They checked with Wenger management in Switzerland.
Anyone come across this before?

I like the toolset of the knife, but read the whistle is actually plastic. I wasnt aware Wenger manufactured outside Switz land.

Thanks for the links :tu: I'll follow up on one of those. Yes sadly whistle looks like it is plastic.
Just a note on the Victorinox Whistle - basically a Classic SD with a whistle built into one of the scales - it was designed by a US company who had the brief to design a small personal alarm system. They came up with the design and approached Victorinox to build it...
