A few weeks ago I won a new Mora in a GAW from Pablo and it came in today. I got my photos unpacking it and even one of Pab's special request Pablo'ing of it.
Then my wife Danni caught sight of it and well the rest is history...

Maybe some day I'll get it back. :ahhh :ahhh
Although I must say she can use it any time she wants to make MORA those brisket nachos.
Sorry guys,
they're all gone and I didn't feel right torturing you with pictures of something too good to share

Glad to know I'm not the only one who does things like that.
My "cleaver" is a 12" GI-style machete. When I could still eat watermelon, it dispatched guerilla style justice to many of those camouflaged menaces.

What like this...

Yeah sounds familiar, she still has my Alox Rambler. ::)

The brisket looks tasty  Maybe you can use it in between her using it ::) :D :like:

You're looking at it all wrong. This is an opportunity to buy more Moras. Maybe give her a choice of colors - they come in pink...

Or to get any other knife you want.

"Well, you took my Mora away..."

At the look of that brisket I'd have no issue handing her any knife I own. If she likes the Mora maybe she'd like to try the other offerings from Mora? If she doesn't like them then you end up with more Mora's.

*Crowd chanting: "More Moras! More Moras! More Moras! More Moras! More Moras!"*

ofc you should marry her again. women that appreciate fine cutlery are hard to find. even harder are those that don't want to stab you with it when you do something stupid

You know what they say "what's mine is mine, what's yours is mine" :ahhh
-
so orange lantern?
This power is mine, this is my light.
Be it in bright of day, or black of night.
I lay claim to all that falls within my sight,
To take what I want, THAT IS MY RIGHT!
or the other one...
"What's mine is mine
and mine and mine,
And mine, and mine, and mine!
Not yours!"

Gave my grandmother a couple old steak knives which were part of a lot that had a couple pocketknives in them I wanted (I only hoard butcher, stiff paring, and fillet knives). I cleaned them up and sharpened them, and have noticed she's been using them a lot. She stole my Old Hickories (which were removed from the block and are now field knives, as they were rusty after I let her use them a week, she would just leave them in the sink wet for hours), my Nogent peeler and paring knife, as well as the half-set of Henckels Vier Sterne (cost me $15 new), which is used a lot because her knives are all cheap and don't hold an edge. She also uses my Svord Peasant a lot, because they're 12 bucks at my local cutlery store, I'll buy her one next time I'm there.
I bought her an extra Mora when Woot had the sale on Robusts and wood chisels, but both remain in their wrapper in my knife box.
I have what is essentially that same Mora, the Bahco 2444 Carpenter's knife, and I camp, mess around in the woods (60 acres might seem like a lot to some, but it isn't really enough, I want a property big enough to get lost on, it was fun when we were leasing two properties bordering us for extra grazing land, that brought us to a little over 100), and fish, as well as help prep food. I often hate Mora's plastic sheaths, but it ensures you'll get the fish guts out of it as opposed to the backup for my Moras, a Boker USA 155 with a leather sheath (plan to give it a Kydex replacement for the ease of cleaning, as the sheath came to me with half the stitching gone).

Now she STOLE the CLASSIC right off my key chain...

EXCELLENT (cue Mr. Burns). I foresee a whole new series of knives and tools in your future. Especially EDC tools.

Well you KNOW it's your own fault... for not buying her one in the first place! :pok:
