I already have both of those or I'd have taken them already!

Looks to me like it's your turn!

I prefer the ParaTool  S31 over this tool .....

eod, I really like the Pocket PowerPlier. I'm curious; what about the ParaTool do you prefer?

A couple things: 1. S31 has two full size blades - a 3" plain and 3" serrated vs a single 1/2 + 1/2 blade,  #2. the lanyard ring larger on the S31, , #3. angled plier head capability on S31, #4. the wider nylon pouch vs the smaller leather pouch, #5. three more tools on the S31 -  medium flat screwdriver, an awl, 2 blades vs one blade.

Of the five difference noted the main reason is the two blades vs 1 combo blade - that combo blade looks like a real pain to sharpen properly, secondary is the way Paratool opens and allows the plier to be operated at various degrees of angles (140 - 180 degrees) is a unique feature, not sure if I'll ever need it but it's there if I do. Shopping around on the WWW they both are about the same price.

If you should ever need it, and manage to use it successfully, please let us know....

I know all the times I tried using it that way were pretty well unsuccessful.

To me it was yet another idea that seemed great on paper.
