Post by: M.TEX on September 01, 2009, 06:34:46 AM
Does anyone know the Makers Name / Mark ?

I think the maker is "Jon Sydney Burleson". (SP?) He is into dustups and brown trees. He owns a forum called "EDCF"'

Its one of the older "Wenger" brand marks they used up until the 2nd world war. Check out the Wenger section of James Christian's SAK Collector website for the tang stamps.

That mark is actually a 3-in-1 where each side presents a human face of a man. Check out the "Wenger Symbol History" pdf file for details and photos.

Thanks
I never stop to think that could be wenger or never had the desire to find out about Wenger
History , logo etc....( I did that Years ago to find out about Victorinox , elsener , Victoria ) but not
Wenger...
so I own an OLD WENGER with SAW like a early FARMER model....that's good ) BTW it's in very good shape
Thanks
