Ok,so it's my birthday,and I'm giving away a NIB pre-hook Victorinox Fisherman. How can you win this you ask?
Well,you must have 100 posts at the end of the giveaway,(on the 25th of December,say 2pm UK time?),you must be over 18,and sharp and shineys must be legal where you are. Oh,and you have to guess something...
When I was three days old,my dad bought me a cuddly panda. He too is having his 42nd birthday(he lives with my mum and dad now). My dad being my dad gave him a really unusual name,and that's what I'd like you to guess! Whoever is the first person to guess the pandas name wins the SAK. In the very likely that none of you guess correctly,the guess I think is funniest wins. If there's too many funny guess,then I'll do a random number draw. And yes,you only get one guess :pok:
Oh,and here's the kicker...the guess I feel is the worst or most lame will get lumbered with a Lansky World Legal Knife :rofl:

Please tell us why he was named after Enoch Powell. Were you, your Dad a fan?
They don't seem to share too many similarities:
Panda: Sweet, cuddly, cute, benign etc
EP: Agressive, angry, powerful, tough, opionated etc etc
..... although RMac was on very much the right track....
Or was RMac correct in his logic?
PS. Mine was close too ?? ..... Well at least I got a politician! ???

Well compared to Ian Paisley, I guess Enoch Powell was cute and cuddly :think: My dads politics are still a mystery to me,and a subject only to be speculated on over a number of pints of beer :D
RMac at least got into the idea of English politicos. If my dad was going to go commie,it would have been Castro or Guevara ;)

Got the Lansky world-legal yet quite large and scary looking knife, thanks Kirky :salute:
First impression:
It has a very strong back-spring, so it's quite solid when open. The blade is quite massive (close to 4mm at the spine) making it a heavy knife. I think they should market it as "World Legal Zombie Decapitator and Eye-Gouger". Seriously that thing looks as harmless as a flame-thrower in action, its sheer massivness would make Harley tremble in fear. So in short, I love it :D.
It came nicely wrapped, quite inconspicuous...
