Title: Yard work with the hatchet
Post by: Singh on July 29, 2021, 04:54:45 PM: I used my cheap ol hatchet to remove a dead bush. I had to chop some persistent roots.

Post by: gregozedobe on July 29, 2021, 06:38:54 PM: I used to chop roots when removing shrubs/trees (in fact I had a special "rough" axe and a mattock with an adze blade that I used). These days I just cut them with my 18V Ryobi reciprocating saw (using a carbide blade so it doesn't get blunt too quickly from running in the dirt)
