Title: 1970's style

Thought you may enjoy something a bit different.  I wore it today - very comfortable and sized just right.

It's a bulova accutron 218 with a Speidel expanding bracelet.  This is a "tuning fork" watch powered by a battery:

That is indeed a classic!  If you are going to wear a watch like that I think it is mandatory that you drive an old porthole Lincoln Continental!

That is sure one big hunk of metal (the lincoln).  I couldn't afford to fuel it up :D  but I do have the 'stache - but not so dark in colour.

Smashie - thanks for the video - quite interesting.

For anyone interested there is a fellow on the bay from Bulgaria (I believe it is) that repairs and sells overhauled accutrons (the tuning fork version).  His prices are fairly reasonable and as far as I know he has a good reputation.  Ebay canada has some of his listings.  He must have a good selection of repair parts as they are no longer made.
