Is it one of those wrenches for removing spikes from golf shoes? It does not look posh enough for that... also it is pretty scratched up, so I would presume that its used on something metallic.

Nice...Is it one of those wrenches for removing spikes from golf shoes?I reckon that's close enough. :tu:
It's for changing spikes on cricket shoes. Sometimes we have to play on an artificial pitch so I have to swap out the metals spikes for rubber/plastic.
Your turn? :pok:

Ahh right. Years ago I think we had something that required a large tool with two prongs on it. I'm not sure what we use now...

Accessing secure (mostly outdoor) water spigots. The 4-way water key (aka sillcock key) will open just about any secured water source in the USA. I have no information on the subject of other countries in this respect.
That's me. :D I hang out at "unread topics", not in one sub-forum, when looking for new posts. :cheers:Ahh right. Years ago I think we had something that required a large tool with two prongs on it. I'm not sure what we use now...

Even faster than I expected! :salute:
Guess it's your turn, DTT.
I figured someone would have ''nailed'' it by now. So no more "horsing" around. Zman should know what it is. I am sure he will know, because the "shoe fits".
You want to just ignore the references to "horsing around" and Zoidberg, who has horses?
Well obviously it's for that thing you do when nailing on horseshoes, right?LMAO!
Nah, for nailing soles onto shoes for humans, portable anvil (probably has a different name though).

Is it agrarian?
I look up agrarian and I am informed it is an or related to a agricultural society. Nothing found as a tool or device any nature. Is it agrarian?
Yes it is.

Something very cold - liquid nitrogen ?Yes! It is a dipstick for measuring liquid nitrogen levels in a cryo-tank.
Our tanks are kept cold by the LN2 sitting at the bottom of the tank. We store samples in the cold vapour above the liquid.
Dip the stick into the tank and pull it out. Wave the stick in the air and moisture freezes to the part that was in contact with liquid.
The tanks are easily large enough for a person or two to get into but we only store blood samples in small tubes in the tank.

Design fault: the chain tension screw is too close to the bar to use the screwdriver (the wrench parts get in the way).
