Title: Bought a GoPro :)

So, Santa brought my son a GoPro (Hero + LCD), and I was playing with it, and really liked it.  I liked it so much that I went out and bought one for myself today.  Shoppers Drugmart had them on sale for $199, and my wife had $80 in Shoppers points, so I got a pretty good deal on it! :)

I can't wait to try it out now!!  I'm going to eventually order one of the big accessory packs from Amazon.

Nice!

I have two Hero2's that I like a lot.  I keep thinking of upgrading, but these are still going strong and I don't see much in the new ones that is that much better.  I know the resolution is better, and a lot of the add ons the old ones have are built into the new ones, but there's nothing wrong with the Hero2's and until they die I don't see me upgrading.

Plus I have the 3D housing for the Hero2's, so maybe one of these days I'll get around to making some 3D Videos.  :D

Some 3D vids would be cool to see!

I've been playing with the GoPro software, trying to get used to it.  It actually seems pretty good!  I've just been playing with the templates so far though.

I'm going wheeling again on Saturday, and hope to catch some good footage.  I'll try playing around with the editing more too.

I have an older GoPro bought back in 2010. Just bought a drone large enough to take it up into space. Can't wait for nicer and warmer weather to come.

Unfortunately I don't have a PC powerful enough to merge the video into 3D, so that won't happen until I get a new laptop.

Got some cool video there though!  I swear sometimes that they had Jeeps in mind when they made GoPros!
