Title: Apart from here and eBay - where's best to look for collectible/vintage SAKs?
Post by: Oxford_Guy on October 13, 2016, 08:02:58 PM
Hi - I've been a long-time SAK user and now have quite a few (though still a small number compared to many of you!), though mostly purchased with utility in mind, however I'm starting to get interesting in collecting some of the older models now longer being produced, for example would love to get hold of an old cross Pioneer in good condition, but where does one look for such items? Obviously there's the For Sale section of this forum (in fact I just purchased a post-2008 Wenger SI through this, not particularly rare,  but actually quite difficult to get in Europe these days), though ebay.com is out, as they don't allow shipping of knives to the UK, and ebay.co.uk doesn't allow selling of knives...

Where else is worth looking for collectible/vintage SAKs? Thanks!

I find mine in old stores, from online selling sites, flea markets...

Just keep your eyes peeled, you never know when a precious gem crosses paths with you.
