Title: Is it possible... prybar without a cap lifter
Post by: Etherealicer on August 27, 2018, 10:15:20 PM
Got a new prybar from Custom Forge. Love the sleek design, asymmetrical design and size (I wish they made a 2nd version twice the length).
Also, did I mention... NO CAP LIFTER :woohoo:

Thats nice.  I have 2 pry bars without cap lifter.  PW2 and a cheapo one.  I dont like the cap lifter as I dont drink those type beverages.

I miss my modified brewzer. Maybe it's time to make a replacement.

I love the PW2 too!
I can not remember the last time that I need a Bottle Opener?

I only have a fake PW2 (never managed to get my hands on the real deal at somewhat reasonable condition), though it seems of fair quality. So, don't forget that when looking at this comparison.

As you can see, CF prybar is thicker and has a sharper wedge when compared to the fake PW2 and because its thicker it offers a wee bit more leverage. I had troubles with the PW to getting into tight gaps, but it excels as general screwdriver. I think the two tools are different enough to justify both.

The pry part of the PW2 is a little thick.  I think the 1/4 driver and wrench not to mention the ruler makes this OPT a MT.  Lots of utility and lots of function with it.  I like the looks of your CF pry bar but for me the PW2 is hard to beat.
