I know I'm not the only one on here that likes the 65mm line so let's see what you have.
-
Is really like to get one of 65mm. Tool Chest would be great

Meh, no light here for decent pics. Will try again later :tu:
-
Pocket Tool Chest is a fairly regular carry.
Also have a pretty decent selection of other Wenger 65mms.
-
How about a 65mm Collector badge?! :pok:
-
The Pocket Tool Chest was next on my list of SAKs to get but since I'm flying a bit for work now I'm thinking about an Air Traveler which I could pair with my IDL T5. The only problem with this pairing is that it lacks a bottle opener and since I often bring a 6 pack back to my hotel room that is a bummer. But then I can open a beer with just about anything so not a big deal. But I'm usually tired and wouldn't mind the convenience of having a bottle opener. So now I'm back to the Pocket Tool Chest or maybe both

There are a variety of key chain bottle openers out there, generally for only a few bucks.
-
That's a good point. I always kind of wanted a Brewzer but it just didn't make sense. Now it does, strange how that happens
-
I have several Pocket Tool Chests. I like to mod the screwdriver into a proper one, like this.

Alox Pocket Tool Chest. Built using Money Clip scales.

All sorts of models, including black Lady Executive w/ Interlock (move nail file to 90* to unlock blade); Executive (four blades w/ blunt blade and nail file/rare); Optitool (later Air Traveler) (camo, long thin screwdriver in place of blade); Nail Clip (trans blue).

I've never seen or heard of the tool combo on that blunt tip one. Do you know what it's called?
None of those are easy to find models. Very cool! :like:

Four different 65mm scissors.

There's been some 65mm interest lately so I'm bumping this thread.

Gorgeous display of true beauties in here!
I really loved carrying the 65mm models in my month 4 of "different SAK every day"!
Here are those I carried in chronological order along with the conclusions I posted at the end of that month.
(https://image.ibb.co/k6o87T/20180506_204441.jpg) (https://image.ibb.co/k6o87T/20180506_204441.jpg)
- the Alox ones are extremely easy to carry, super thin and light but easy to use as you get a bit of a better grip on them than on Vic's 58mm Alox.
- the Evo scales add a lot of bulk and dont really help that much. Looks are good but the Alox looks even better.
- I really love the Macao and Lithos series; must get more Lithos but that blue is already gorgeous! My favorite Macao is the 700 even though they're all awesome. I was exited to get Vic De Luxe series knives but they don't look half as good as these!
- I've always preferred the mechanism of the Wenger scissors and I confirm: they're much better and their serrations make them cut much better over time than their vic counterparts
- much better choice of colors than Vic (excluding special and limited editions)
And I'll take this opportunity to welcome Ptisuisse ( and his french flag :P ) to the fold!

That's a precious piece right there! Welcome to MTo

Thank you Syem for your kind words of welcome. Actually I was fairly active on the now defunct SOSAK as early as 2011.
And by the way, this Patagonian nail clip is available for sale if you really want it. Just PM me. I'll explain everything :)

Actually, this nickname Ptisuisse is some sort of a joke. As you might know, Petit Suisse is a sort of fresh cheese quite popular in France.
My avatar is also meant to be a joke, the french are often referred to as "frogs" by the english speaking people.
-
I used to eat Pink Petit Suisse as a kid :D
They were smaller than the average yogurt container :salute:

A-ha! Welcome back then
I'm trying to ignore the existence of these Patagonian Wengers... If I start getting them I won't stop until I have them all; and they're quite expensive ^^

Actually there's 2 kinds. The one our friend here mentioned and the other one which is a type of fruit flavoured quark.

Today is the final day of the Soccer FIFA World Cup 2018.
So, let’s remember the another Soccer World Cup 1994 and its mascot – Striker, the World Cup Pup, – and the team of Switzerland.

Folks, look what I got :) a colour chart from Wenger. It's a rigid A4 size sheet of plastic, fitted on the front side with colour samples, and on the flip side with the different options available. All in Esquire size.

Yes, cool guy. He was very careful and cautious in describing them, insisting they were not perfect.
The three charts (in fact I got three, more on that later) were correctly packed, and the price, overall, very reasonable.
I take this opportunity to thank Shtirr for selling those gems to me, and MTO for giving us an opportunity to meet.

When I get time and good lighting I will shoot more pics and post them.
