About 15 years ago or so the HSN sold alox farmers in pairs or red and silver and blue and silver. This is a blue one from one of the blue and silver sets. I believe these were the first blue modern alox farmers. I also believe it was the same for the red alox as well. Of course there is a great chance that I am mistaken!

I have a blue farmer from the same timeframe, and I believe mine was from a set that featured a blue farmer and a silver Victorinox flashlight that was made by Inova, based on the X2.

Oh yes, I remember getting those as well. Did they come in the same tin as the farmers? flashlight and farmer in a tin, as a set? I cannot remember. I kind of recall those sets with a silver alox farmer.

Yep, rectangular tin. You might be right though, maybe those were silver farmers. I've slept a bit since the good 'ol SOSAK days, so I'm probably mixing it up with the set you mentioned. I think Tim might have separated out some of those double sets and I just bought the blue farmer as a single from him, but it was definitely that timeframe.

Today's Wenger may not be as big (physically at least) as the Rangers in previous pics, but the splash they made when first announced was HUGE.
In fact, I recall announcing them (https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,25394) way back in January, 2011!

The basic idea was of porting the 111mm Fireman to the 91mm range. I wanted both plain and serrated blades and a saw, and the fluted corkscrew 8). The two blades have different tang stamps 8) 8). It was Mags´ idea to put a combo tool in the second blade layer so I didn´t need the opener layer 8) 8) 8). That way the 4 layer Fireman became the 3 layer Green Hornet. There is an awl on the back too but it´s positioned deep between the liners and can´t be opened :ahhh.

Personally, knowing it is a military issue model makes it that much cooler in my mind, but, in the off chance you aren't overly impressed about a mere Bantam, how about (almost) matching Wenger Versions, complete with corkscrews?
The Wenger Evo 63 and Entree are ready to do everything the Bantam does, and have a glass of wine afterwards! :D
