Title: Time for me to improve
Post by: Smashie on October 20, 2016, 06:54:00 PM
So I've been using my iPhone to post some pretty mediocre pictures on the forum. I've got a DSLR but to be honest I never seem to use it.

I'm going to change that. Part one arrived today. A Sony RX100 III.

The next step is lighting purely because my home is very dark :tu:

Ironically, you've taken quite a nice picture of your new camera. Why didn't you just do that before  :P

I'm just submitting phone pics too, but that's the best I can do right now. Good luck with it mate

Sony camera's are great. All my pics are taken with an old Sony Cybershot DSC W-120

Know what you're saying.
Need to start using my canon system camera instead of the phone.

Just takes so much more actions though... Unless I use the USB2GO function of my phone...

Lol. Most of my pics posted here over the years have been taken with my phone.  ;)

Use what light you have available, and manipulate it if needed/possible. Very low light is harder for the sensors in phones though.

Right step 2 (partially) completed. New indoor lighting with replaceable backdrops.

This is still an iPhone photo
