Title: The B.A.T. (Bring Anywhere Tool)
Post by: rdub934 on November 26, 2016, 05:35:48 PM: Just saw this Kickstarter project that has apparently raised enough money to get going. It is an interesting concept, but hardly unique and usually not very successful. I look at it as mostly a novelty. I do like the idea of a coin shaped OPT, though. I also like that it looks like the old Burton/Keaton Bat symbol. Problem is going to be the price. I think I saw where they are looking at a $32 price point. I would never spend near that much for this thing. Maybe $10, but even then I think about all the OPTs that can be had for less than $10: Shard, Eat'n Tool, Viva, all the NiteIze tools.

Sorry if this has been discussed before (i did a quick search but saw nothing). I am not affiliated with this company or product at all. Picture was ripped from the Kickstarter page.

It'll never be a Metperial, of course, but one can dream :rofl:

The addition of 2 cm of sawblade seems ridiculous though and will shred trousers etc. The price is also prohibitive to say the least, I can pick up any of a number of great (used) multitools for that kind of money.
