click on the "How to Submit" button. This will change the page. Click on the Gallery button. The image is #43 on the list...and if you click on that image of one of my drawers...you will note that it isn't me at all. I absolutely dislike dishonest people.
I recognize at least four MTO members in the gallery.Really? ;)

I see someone named Christopher Wilson has stolen one of my images and joined the contest with it.
The smarmy smurf has the audacity to say that these are just some of his knives,

+1... agree... if we can be brutal about it as well, there is a way to shame this guy on social media... I would start with the SAK grps on FB, of which some of us here are members.Go to the link...

Well Chako, if you took that image yourself, you should be the 'intellectual owner' of it. Using someone else's property is forbidden. You have the legal 'copy' rights of this picture. I would contact Victorinox and ask if they are willing to erase the picture.

There’s such a thing as reverse image search... Chako’s name and pic is written all over...

it's possible they already removed the pic/entry. Pic #43 is not Christopher Wilson and none around #43 is, either.Because of new entries it's now no114.
Which one is it?... can’t match actual names to mto user idsit's possible they already removed the pic/entry. Pic #43 is not Christopher Wilson and none around #43 is, either.Because of new entries it's now no114.

Yes, I emailed Victorinox last night but haven't gotten a reply yet. I should be used to having my photos stolen. This isn't the first, and I would wager, not the last time this will happen. I think this one hurts a little more because this is a contest. I would not want a liar to remotely have a chance to win.I’ve made noises already in the SAK Collectors Group...
EDIT: I would like to add I wasn't going to join until I saw that photo. I posted a similar photo in hopes that the folks running the contest will question both of us.
Is there already a decision made by the jury?
How is it going to be published?
In my view, its not a foto-shooting contest! Angle, light, composition dont matter for me. It's about the story, not the quality of the picture.
I hope that not a super high quality magazine story/picture wins.
Hope to see some pictures in the style of old man repairing and cleaning old rusted SAKs in his cellar while his wife is always complaining in the back...
Can't find the contest entries in the site. Not user-friendly at all...

Still, I found this:

Hurry up, ends tomorrow!

Me too congrats to the winners! Beautiful collections you have.Is that how they did it?
To me it seems a little bit odd that Victorinox organised a photo contest, but afterwards selects the winners on their enthusiastic stories, and not on photographic qualities.

From memory - Right from the start they said:
1. We want to hear your collection stories
2. Show us the pics that tell the story
Looking f to hearing the winners' stories
Wow look at that collection of Haoran Yang, with thore rare 111mm army issues, multiple black beauties, four(!) alox Dutch Air Force knives (and 15 regular ones...) :oNow you know how I feel looking at your collection :pok:

They didn't take the picture into account as a primary selection, yet my 2 submission tries were never showed.
Probably because there was 1 leatherman on the bottom drawer.
