The show side pictured in my previous post I  am happy with, it’s the back side I do not think is the best.

My limited experience with paracord, I have found scissors to be a fail.
My go to has always been my IZula knifes.

Hi,
I  beleive winter bottom stag bone is what queen call their stag bone

This is called India stag bone, same as though I’m sure.
The website I bought it from listed it as 1095 and in the comments in the attached video SMKW say it’s carbon when asked.

I've seen people say that early Micras cut much better than recent ones.

General Tool Discussion / Flashlight Challenge - June 2024
« Last post by ReamerPunch on Today at 05:19:08 PM »
I've come to appreciate having a dedicated light on me. And we've been seeing all sorts of light innovations lately. Pens, hats, flat flashlight bodies, articulating heads, thousands and thousands of lumens. It never seems to end. :D

June seems to be free. And flashlights seem like a safe carry, compared to knives and pointy things.

Along with flashlights and head-lamps, I think we could carry non-flashlight things with lights on them, and still qualify for a flashlight badge. So, Midnight Managers are fine. Olight pens, LED hats, glasses, probably. But not just our phones.

So, who wants in?

Would these scales be called WINTERBOTTOM BONE?

I have been curious since first seeing model.

Also, how did  you determine the blade steel  chip?

There are no markings on my similar model Rosewood and  with the high polish I was thinking it to be 440 steel.

Mine came razor sharp and cuts paper near silent, indicating no burrs or edge roll in the slightest.
