Specifically Cajun Chicken breast. YUM!

Cooked till exactly 165f and then

Charge AL pliers used for inserting and changing the temp probe and then the blade for 'slicing' (hence the thick cuts, I hate hollow grind for food).

I'll do my homemade pastrami next if there's interest. :)

While I'm at it and on the fowl theme, homemade smoked turkey breast.

My wife bought me a Weber for a birthday present last year, such a great gift!

More chicken! The gas was out for a few days and our oven top is all gas powered.

Went with the kids to get some wood, used the Emberlit Fireant to make some flat bread and Schwarma chicken in a wok! Served with hummus, chilli and pickles, meal fit for a king!

Oh and cyprus wood is a pain in the behind to get burning. Next time I'll split the branches first and dry them out for an hour.

Go to your profile, look for "Awards", click on it then two options pop up underneath it, click on the "show available awards" one, find the outdoor cooking award, click on the icon of a hand being given a medal, and follow instructions.  :)

Thanks! Is it good form to start threads to win awards? I've got lots of stuff I can show and talk about but don't want to spam the forum.

It is a rule that you start you start a new thread generally. Also, don't worry about spamming or thread derailments. We thrive on it. LOL!

Sooooo good! I sent some down to a neighbour who had popped in this morning to warn me of a smell of smoke and were we sure there wasn't a fire? :D She knocked on about half an hour with a notebook and pen begging for the recipe. She got a bit put off when I explained about brining for a week prior, smoking for 6-8 hours then steaming for some 3-4 hours after that. :D Pastrami is somewhat of a faff but it all becomes worth it with the very first bite through the crispy spicy bark into that soft red goodness.
