Post by: JBW1 on September 27, 2016, 04:13:41 AM: Here's my first take on a keychain prybar. Very crude idea but I have some other ideas for round 2.
It's made from a spare chisel I had already. I'm thinking that it will hold up to the prying/wedging tasks. It's pretty thick for a keychain tool, but I don't know the grade of steel.
Also My first attempt at creating a philips driver. Man, harder than I thought. It was supposed to be closer to a #2 but is more like a 3.
I'm not sure how functional the "nail puller" will be or if I would like a scraper profile better.

I've never liked cats paw type pry bars. Even the full size versions in the garage, they are never the right size and a Claw Hammer pulls nails just as fine without getting up and grabbing a different tool.

Prybar-slide key ring on its side-Phillips
I was wanting to keep it changeable, but not on it's own. It slides easily but does take effort.

Post by: JBW1 on October 02, 2016, 03:46:20 AM: Gave the nail puller a different shape. I will have some action pics soon. So far it has come in handy a few times this week. Not pretty, but I'm happy with the trial version. I will carry it for a month and see what changes I can make.
