Just on a whim I took an extra t-shank blade and gently ground one of the T's to fit the Skeletool bit holder. The blade wobbles side-to-side, and can be wrestled out, but in actual use the saw stays put well enough to cut. I cut a #10 screw without issue.
I have a Surge and Crunch for my saw-holding needs, but die-hard Skeletool users might like this one, if someone hasn't already done it! Never hurts to have a hacksaw in your glovebox.

I guess I should mention that my first photo is slightly smurfed. The grinding should happen on the side of the "T" that is going in the "valley" of the bit holder. The remaining "T" should be left untouched as that side engages nicely with the bit holder lock.
So in other words, you can choose the orientation of the teeth depending on which "T" you grind to fit.
Not only did I take a bad photo, I also (in my opinion) ground the wrong side!

A solution for blade wobble: Skeletool Jigsaw Blade Mod (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjsoFPvyRxQ#ws)

Superb mods my friend! I especially like the bit holder. :D

Great solution to the blade wobble Syncop8r. Shoulda' known someone already thought of this

A very useful mod though, thanks for sharing. :salute: Those little jig saw blades don't cost much, but boy would it ever be nice to have one along some day if you had to cut through a heavy wire fence or remove a padlock or the like. :tu:

I agree J-sews; being able to cut metal is a big slice of the utilitarian pie. It's really neat to have that kind of capability, all in a small pouch by your side 24/7.

Does anyone have a link to the video posted that eliminates blade wobble? Or just a short description of how to do it?
Thanks!

I can't remember what it was.
Maybe shrinkwrap around the blade end. :dunno:
