well, it looks like you are turning some kind of gas valve on a bottle.
so, I will guess you are servicing some kind of pumping device
given the markings on the sticker it looks like it was made in Germany. (baukasten = set)

How much redundancy does one keychain need?! I thought mine was bad, but it seems rather sensible compared to that :D

That's a tad excessive :D

Here's a few of my one piece tools, with the Artifact thrown in because it's fairly similar in concept, even though there's more than one piece to it!
I have another Multitool.org Ring Tool and the Gatco Frog Tool that aren't in that pic though- the Ring tool is in the Jeep and the Frog is in the garage and I'm too lazy to go get either at the moment!
Def
-
Oh yeah. I always forget about the Frog tool.
I keep meaning to try mine out, but never think about it.
-
If you suffer form any kind of muffin top, I would suggest wearing it inverted on your belt as those screwdrivers will stick into your flesh, and it's not as comfortable or pleasant as it sounds.
Also, the Frog is great if you are wearing gloves, but can be somewhat painful during use, which is probably one of the many reasons it's been discontinued. I bought three when they were on closeout, and I wish I bought more as I only have one left.
Def
-
Yeah, I was looking at it just now and can see that all of those things could be a problem.

I gotta new Atwrench, or more precisely a Metwrench :tu:

Well try them, your hands on DIY that is... Think we should have a topic (or thread, don't know the right term) dedicated to DIY (if we don't have it already), and encourage pic's.... Whatever our DIY look like doesn't matter... I'm positive that even Atwood's early works were... Well, in lack of better word let me say "rough"!! So, topic and no LOL, or , or :D, or anything like that, just a lot of :tu:, and :salute:, and ....

Nice catch David :tu:
What's the finish on those?
Stonewashed. I bought a raw bar finished one today. It should be here in a couple days.
How? There's been no sale today...
I emailed Peter and ask if he was going to have any raw bar finished G5 PB`s this go around and he said he has a few and sent me the link. :)
You know, that's one of the things I really like about Peter. He'll accomodate us nuts to an amazing degree. Makes me feel good about buying tools from an artisan/tool maker. :tu:
I agree!

Different steel (G5 is SV35N) and the half hex edge treatment.
There might be more, but those are the ones I know of.

One other thing is the G5 does not have the screw driver tip on the end of the tool that the G4 has.

Got myself a micra for emergency "manscaping" and I never thought to post this one piece tool we use at work. It's a tap wrench like the one on the "beerplumber" and a flat driver and some wrenches we commonly use. I thought we had a "unique tool" thread around here somewhere...

That's an Atwood. It's milled from a solid bar of brass, with plastic insert (for whistle).

Nice of you to show us your design, Nate. And we do aprechiate you not posting links to your site or kickstarter. :hatsoff: Looks like a very cool and well thought of design. Reminds me a bit of one of the designs that we had for our challenge coin but with some added tool functionality.
If you'd like to advertise it here though, you'll have to upgrade your account to a Crowd Sourcing subscription that you can find under your profile under Paid subscriptions.
But if you'd just like to take part in the discussions and show off your design, that's cool too.
Welcome to the forum. :waving: Hope you like it here.

Great thing that the key holder has so many holes. With keyrings and zipties you can add whatever you want.

Now, if I have the keys on me, I have the basics covered (pry, cut, iluminate, file, scrape, drive screws) and it barely took attaching two gadgets to the OPT itself.

Very nice. How sturdy is that pry bar?
I don't know if you're asking me, but in case you are...it handles paint cans fine, and seems heavy duty enough for most tasks, but definitely not as strong as my Piranha clone.

Its shorter length also limits the depth of the tool that fits in whatever you need to pry, having the 4-driver just behind

My current setup is generally unchanged from last time; I'm still not really happy with the S-biner, as it doesn't hang how I'd like it to from my Victorinox Belt Hanger.

Hey David!! It has been a long time. Yep, the same one for 11 years straight. That's got to be some kind of record.
