I have a few custom lights with crazy lumens and throw but keep going back to my S1 baton.
It works everytime and I love the combination of small size and UI. Being able to get turbo, moonlight and a middle brightness from off is priceless.

Just received the wand/diffuser attachments. One in white (glow in the dark) and one in red. The fit is great and they do the job.Aren't they great! I'll probably use them when camping this year, but kind of cumbersome for everyday carry.

Thanks Poncho, most used are the S Mini's and the S1R, the R50 is going in the car as that is where it will be the most useful. The M21X has gone from being the most used to the least and I'm not sure what I'll do with them (I've got 3 of them) :think:

Currently I use a Fenix LD 22 whit 2 Amazon Basic Akku Batterys in AA, (each 1,2 V/1900 mah)
Im happy whit the light, but whit the 2 AA Batterys it’s a bit too long,
Also the Warrior whit it’s single 3,4 V 10 Ampere Zell and these cool dual direction clip and magnet on the back looks pretty interesting
And I ditnt need a AA Battery Charger to charge the Battery outside only the magnetic USB Charger which also can be used whit a Powerbank

But a bit thicker than my old Fenix,
A comparison against my Very Old Mini Maglight (whit a normal Light Bulp, no LED but maybe it’s the Mother of all Outdoor Survival Pocket Flashlight s ) and my old Fenix LD22
And the Batteries I use in the Fenix and the Big Battery which gives the Olight it’s juice..

But the Connection was also a bit fiddley :
When I put the magnetic Charger on the End of the Flashlight the LED was RED, but when I moved it a bit, there was this lighter RED on the LED and after 2 Hours it turned to green..
So seems like the Light needs lot of Juice to reload and this connection isn’t that perfect
So this wasn’t the best Start in the world of Olight Flashlights
Also I have to get used to this Switch on the Side
As I didn’t found it today easily ..
It’s still a pretty cool Flashlight, I need to train how to use it..

Is there a indicator when the Battery needs to recharge??
I know from my Fenix Lights, that these puts itself in the lowest Modus when there are about to get empty, but what dos the Olight doo??
Or should I just Put it every weekend on the Charger to avoid it that it’s get empty??

My AAA Olight keeps unscrewing in my pocket. It’s happened multiple times now so it’s getting the boot which is a shame because I really like that light for my keychain. Thinking I will run the Thrunite for a while.

It is a weak point of the i3 range, it's noticeably worse on the silver variants, most likely to do with the finish that seems to offer less friction.

Had it for a year I would say. It’s the copper version. I may try putting a new o-ring on but I’m already committed to switching it up to a new light. I have a bunch of aaa lights that need some pocket time anyways.
Yeah, I've got 4 i3 variants and none of them are great, one of the problems is when the light is off the o-ring is barely in contact thus making it ineffective when the light is off. If it was moved forward by 1.5 to 2mm it would solve the problem.

It is convenient the way I carry it with the dangler and sometimes when I pull keys out of that pocket the light comes out as well :-\ I know I need to change how I carry it but it is almost second nature when retrieving the light for use :ahhh :D

I found my lost Baton H1R :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh Talk about over the moon :dd: After I found it I went back and looked to see if anything else was under there but that was all ;) I am feeling pretty good right now that I have it and can compare the differences between the 2 I have now :like:

My first Olight is an S1 mini that I use as a combination backup light and battery holder. With it being so small and using the same battery as my primary carry flashlight, I figure it is just as convenient as a spare battery but has more advantage.
Exactly what I do with mine!
The Mini is a pretty amazing spare battery holder for sure!

Great little light :tu: I have 2 of them actually :facepalm: The first was 900 lm in turbo mode and then I lost it :oops: and a while after I replaced it with the newer model with 1000 lm I found the first one :woohoo: So now that I have 2 I am back and forth when carrying them but mostly carry the small rechargeable i1R EOS as it stays clipped to my keys :cheers: I have been carrying the H1R lately as well since it can be used as a headlamp, been dark in the mornings when I get to work and it helps me find my way around :D now with the time change I hopefully won't need it as much :salute:

Great little light :tu: I have 2 of them actually :facepalm: The first was 900 lm in turbo mode and then I lost it :oops: and a while after I replaced it with the newer model with 1000 lm I found the first one :woohoo: So now that I have 2 I am back and forth when carrying them but mostly carry the small rechargeable i1R EOS as it stays clipped to my keys :cheers: I have been carrying the H1R lately as well since it can be used as a headlamp, been dark in the mornings when I get to work and it helps me find my way around :D now with the time change I hopefully won't need it as much :salute:
I also carry the headlamp version. Mine is the non recharging model though.

I think that you can buy a conversion kit that comes with the magnetic charging end of that light and the rechargeable battery :think: I think mine was the regular version but they were running a deal with the conversion kit included :cheers:
Sure.
I have a number of Li Ion batteries and don’t mind charging them on my charger.
Nice to have backups ready to go.

Good to see you as well!! I am loving it so far. I don’t have a Seeker, so I can’t directly compare, but I can say that this light is definitely a thrower. It puts out a defined circular beam and seems to go on forever, it actually seems to throw farther than my warrior X! This is a good and a bad thing I guess, because up close sometimes it is better to have more of a flood light, but I have made it work as my edc since it was delivered. The tailswitch is much improved now that it is slightly raised, but the magnet on it is generally useless for holding the light horizontally, as can be expected for a light of this size. Before this, my edc was a baton 2. I love having a tailswitch for moments when you need the light quickly, and the combo of this and a deep carry clip was exactly what I wanted.

Then ordered 8 new olights ranging from the S10R baton lll up to the R50 seeker. The baton gets used every night walking the dog the H1 and H2s get used when doing odd jobs where I need both hands free, I have used the warrior a couple of times when the baton has not been charged. And I have yet to use the seeker.

I really love the Orange of the Seeker 2 Pro 8) The dessert tan of the M2R is no slouch either :drool: They are both very bright and I am very excited to get out and use these some :salute: :like:
Very nice Poncho. I have the non pro seeker 2, great light, Only think I don't like is when you double click for turbo and battery is too low it steps down to a lower mode which is kinda annoying, wish it just stayed in the same mode, other than that it has been my go to light for awhile now, nice blend of spill and throw and insanely bright.

Thanks poncho, that’s what I have been telling myself.
When the urge got too great I had a wander over to some of the flashlight forums to look at some of their collections and it made me think again. Not that I got anything against people who collect flashlights or flashlight collecting, it’s just I collect enough things already :rofl:

Honestly, in the flashlight world, I think the focus on lumens and runtime is really not where they need to put their effort. The truth is, heat management is where we need focus. There are some great lights out there, and their biggest limitation is turbo runtimes that last only a minute or so due to the potential to overheat.

Wow, quite the haul.
I really like the i5R now that it has the rechargeable battery but can also function just like the i5T. I was quite surprised by the weight of the i5R copper - considerably heavier than any of my i5Ts.

I grabbed the 'new arrivals' pack, the purple Open pro, and the two i1r2s were free gifts :tu:
The aluminium is incredibly light, I was impressed by the difference too, but it's exactly the same between the aluminium and Titanium Opens
I really like the i5R, the increase in run times and performance is fantastic for such a minor increase in length:
Low increased from 20 hours to 37 hours
High at the full brightness went from 3 minutes before stepdown, to 10 minutes, and there's only one stepdown instead of two, with overall longer runtime
It's insane!

Yeah I use it fairly often actually, it's more convenient to stick it on my phone charger than to leave one of the magnetic chargers plugged in. Charge times seem good enough, the build quality is excellent (it's solid steel with a brushed/washed finish), it has a secure closure and is fun to fidget with.
I have no intention of carrying it on a keychain personally, but it's certainly well built enough and secure in closing for it to work :tu:
Just bear in mind it is magnetic, so your keys, split rings, maybe some change will probably clump to it

That's exactly why I asked, with it being magnetic will it do that, or will the cover prevent it.

The magnet is strong enough that it can support the weight of an Alox Classic by just the split ring through the cover, so I think some clumping is inevitable.

I just got the new Baton 3 Pro in neutral white and om really liking it. Was going to replace my old s30r baton 3 and I was playing around with them last night and the s30r has an cooler light so it was kind of hard to really compare them and the difference between 1000 lm and 1500 lm aren't that easy to see. But it's smaller, brighter, longer runtime, better clip however om not completely sold on the new button..

Hope it arrives soon anyway! It don't know if it's design or just what I'm used to but with the s30r I feel the button right away, on the baton 3 pro it's a big button but the texture makes it more stealth and harder to get the "click here" feeling in the dark

There are more spill and more flood on the baton 3 and I really liking the warmer tone. But it does get hot on turbo!

Ut after using the baton 3 pro another day I can assure you that this is my new go to edc light! It's brighter, smaller, better runtime and more convenient charger

I can see what you mean about the button... you don't really feel the button, you feel the flat portion the button creates on the round light. That will take some getting used to. I'm blown away how small this is (in a good way), the little adhesive bracket is a neat accessory too. Performance seems good so far!

I've got a couple of Ominos, they're a great charging solution! Excellent for Obulbs and doing a routine top up of lights so they're always good to go. I highly recommend the Oport charging adapter too, excellent bit of kit :tu:

You can normally get a bunch of them for peanuts. My first was free with my Warrior Mini, then I got a 4 pack as part of a bundle, even full price on amazon they're pretty reasonable.
Each comes with a charging cable and an adhesive backed metal Olight badge. This lets you stick them wherever you want. There are 4 different models with slightly different features depending what you want and how much you want to spend.

The Open mini is just short pen, but the full size are very convenient tools to have around. I'm glad that you're enjoying them, to paraphrase a YT reviewer: quality of a product is about effort, not geography.

Because whe want to make more camping, I bought the O lantern classic 2 Pro in this cool vintage copper color, looks cool, I ditnt test its light yet, only put it on shortly to see if it’s works , so reminds me a bit on the petromax lanterns whe had at Boy Scouts but whiteout the flames .. ^^

Warrior Mini 3, all thought it’s much bigger than my Baton 3, but whit 3500 mah instead of 500 mah from the Baton 3 a lot more powerful, ..
it’s this blue color, so fits perfectly to my color scheme i already have whit the blue Garmin Instinkt 2 Solar Watch and the Swisschamp..
there where also a emaile mug and a small AAA Light as a freebie in this package, I think the mug will get good use, the light will have to find its purpose..

Great lights but I've never loved the last one. It's great looking, but I initially outfitted my wife and daughter with that model on their keychains. They put it in their purse and the head would routinely screw itself off. Probably work better for your son in absence of a purse but still something to watch for. Replaced them with i1R and never an issue in years. Hope it works better for you than they did for us.
