A lot of folks are complaining when there was a news report at the end of June that the Ontario Government will be spending 150 000+ dollars for a giant inflatable duck tour for Canada's 150th Birthday. Yep, you guessed it, Sault Ste Marie was on the itinerary tour. Well seeing that this awesome government spending project will be hitting the local shores, I figured it was time to go and take a few photos of it. Well was I a bit surprised and also disappointed that the inflated ducky wasn't sitting wet at the shoreline, but was instead sitting high and dry on land! The slogan says "The World is Her Bathtub", except for Sault Ste Marie I guess. :rofl:
I figured that if the tall tales were true, I should pack my fisheye lens for the job. I must admit, it was great to get all 6 stories of it from so close...that plenty of folks were looking at me as they had to go way waaaay back to the nosebleed section to frame it all from their cameras/cell phones.
