Who says you can't find cool stuff for under 20 bucks?

Found a rite in the rain 3x5 No. 134 notebook at Tractor Supply for 2.99. Seems built pretty tough. Gonna use it for work over the next 3 weeks..see how it hold up under Texas humidity.
I got tired of my water bottle sweating all over the place so i sought out a Klean Kanteen 20 oz (20 ounces (US, fluid) is equal to 0.59 liters) insulated water bottle at REI. Filled it with ice cubes last night before bed. Cubes are still in there at 3pm today. Not bad. Set it upside down for a few hours..no leaks. Bought the sipping top for driving around without having to unscrew the cap every time you wanted a drink. Cool thing is whatever model of Klean Kanteen you buy they have several lid options to suit your lifestyle. 19.99
I'm damn picky when it comes to hats. Found an Oakley hat i like for under 20 at the Oakley outlet store. Nice and cool. Seems built well and is fitted. Kinda has that under armour feel to it.
That rounds out what i have found for cheap. Anyone else have cheap goodies to show off? I know we have a Cheap and Cheerful thread for tools so i didn't want to clutter it up with non tool paraphernalia.

rite in the rain...notebook
:tu:
I ran my first one under the sink to test it out. No problems whatsoever. I think the paper is coated (impregnated?) with some waxy substance that makes it pretty much immune to water. Match it up with a waterproof writing utensil of your choice, and you're good to go.

Pencils works great with Rite in the Rain notebook. Heads up, fountains pens not so much.

My fisher miltary pen writes well on a similar waxed paper notebook.

I must have a dozen or so pocket screwdrivers, and am always interested in getting another. :)
This Stanley 4-in-1 pocket screwdriver sells for under $3 (US) at Amazon.com and in the hardware department at Sears. The blades are (weakly) magnetic. It is a recent arrival, so I have not given it a true workout yet.

i'd write em a letter asking for a replacement lid. Mine is still leakproof after a few weeks use every day. I could hit up REI and grab you another lid if ya want.

Nothing too recently, but I've picked up my Sidekick, Minichamp, Tough Tool, Bucktool, Tough Chip, and my keychain light for under 20 each. I love deals!

The Fenix E01 is 12.95. You get a great little flashlight for the price of a few beers at the pub.
