Title: leatherman dates

Hi guys,

I was issued a leatherman core back in 2007 while I was deployed and the date inside is written 8001 which makes no sense to me,  I own other leatherman tools and this is the only one where the date is messed up,  I just wondered if anyone else has seen this.

Hi, I also have a Core 8001 in one handle and 8060 in the other but really those are upside down   ;)

It's 1008 0908 

Oct 08 and Nov of 08

You sure it wasn't in 08 you were issued it ?

I can't remember what I did with my Core? I should probably have another couple coffees.

I agree with Steve, must be upside down. The core was released in 05ish, so it couldn’t be 01.

Checked mine out of curiosity, but they are both from 07.

That's what I thought but I was issued it at the end of 07, that's what through me off,  thanks for the replies guys.

I'm guessing, could the dates actually be 1006 (October 2006)?
