Up for trade is my MOD Survival Knife.
I have removed the cross guard with a view to completely modding it with new scales etc but I haven't used it and don't see I will so maybe someone else would like to play with it.
See pics for details. It's in ok nick - could be sharpened neater and there is some pitting due to rust, plus a small chunk from one of the hardwood scales. Other than that it's what you would expect from an MOD knife - It's a Beast designed to stand up to whatever a squaddie could think to put it through!
In exchange I'm after SAK's (Swisschamp is top of the list with a CT29 second) or maybe a nice traditional slipjoint - try me out but please don't be offended if I say no.
Here's the pics, please feel free to ask any questions. I'd like to trade within the UK if poss, and I'd put the value at around £35 (but tell me if I'm way off).

Thinking about it, I would also swap for some cool scales, both 91mm and 58mm, (doesn't matter if they are used or not, tweezers, toothpicks, mini sds), modding stuff like pins etc and spare 91 and 93mm tools, or something like an alox Classic or cellidor minichamp style 58mm (anything larger than a Classic anyway).
Or a Wenger SI (with hollow rivet)
Or, and here's a long shot, something OC

These are very underrated knives IMO. I got one and I was very surprised by how sharp an edge it took given it's "iron bar" reputation.

I agree. Mine is lovely and sharp but I'm just never going to use it. I don't like to keep things unused so it's got to go.

Looks much better with guard removed. I had watched some videos on this knife and I was surprised to see how versatile it can be given how beastly it is. This would make a great farm tool or camp tool for anyone looking for a bruiser.

If I had a spare SC I would be all over this :-\ as only have a copy of this knife and although it works well and is solid I've always wanted the real thing,I bet Tony could make some cool mods too this, I've removed my guard and sanded the handle :salute:
