Title: Is there a limit to the number of merrit badges we can
Post by: Alan K. on November 25, 2016, 09:32:42 PM: earn or to the number of badges shown in our signature lines?

I just got my 16th badge this morning and my 1st badge seems to have dropped off so only 15 are showing. In less than a week I'll complete another challenge and earn another badge. Will the older badges continue to drop off so that only 15 show at a time?

It makes sense to not overload the forum with everyone showing loads of badges

I'm not sure if 15 is a good or bad cutoff point. I think we originally bumped from 12 to 15 because there was an issue with a new badge and we couldn't figure out why it wasn't showing up... turned out to be a config thing and nothing to do with favourites or limits.

I wished you could set them to show on mobile cause I never know if people are getting them if I am awarding them when I am on my phone :D

I like seeing them on my profile along with everyone else's :like:

I also liked seeing the post count without having to click on the avatar but that is a whole other quibble :D

Could we bump this up to 20 or 21 showing? Trying to relive the past as it takes 21 badges (among other things) to become an Eagle Boy Scout.

It is fun looking at the different badges that people have earned.
