Title: [CLOSED] Norman sword
Post by: Guardian on August 04, 2016, 09:39:47 PM
Norman crusader sword bought from Jelling Dragon website (www.jelldragon.com) a number of years ago. Unused, just displayed on a wall. The sheath is wood covered in black leather.
I was thinking £55 + whatever postage will be in the UK only, due to the hassle of shipping anywhere else.
Thanks for looking.

You don't have to go into details, but what part of the country are you in?

Lovely city, but a little too far south for me. :D  I was asking as I was going to be in the north east in a few weeks time, but I think Bath might be a bit out of my way.

Well, the swords still up for grabs!

As it's now stored in my shed I don't want it to end up a la Leatherman., I.e. rusty!  :pok: controversial : :D

Smurf knows. It's approx 3 foot long and weighs quite a bit.........needs a lot of bubble wrap as well!

Just make sure to cover the blade in ketchup when you mail it.

Guardian, have you thought of selling it on Gumtree? I'm from Bath and we have our own Gumtree here - then you wouldn't have postage to worry about.

Hi Guardian,

My daughter (19) would really like this if it's still on offer for free. We live in Bath and could pick it up when you like. She has idea's of joining a reenactment group at some point in the future. PM me if this is ok.

Cheers, Magentus
