Badge request: chainsaw

Didn’t realize there was a badge for this.

This is my latest, a battery powered small 12” bar dewalt to use for smaller stuff on the property. It was on sale before Christmas so I figured I’d give it a shot. Not much use so far, just a bit of playing with it. Chain speed is much slower than gas, but it seems to do fine on 2-3” stuff I’ve tried without bogging down.

I also have an Echo CS-4910 gas powered one that I don’t have a pic of handy.

I have a Dewalt very similar if not exactly like that one.  Gave away my gas chainsaw that I used so rarely that it never started when I needed it.  I've converted everything to Dewalt battery power - except my generators.  Haven't quite figured out how to do that yet.

There’s no doubt they’re easier to use and maintain. Unfortunately i do still need the bigger stuff on occasion. We have 6 acres of which about 3.5-4 is wooded so there’s quite a bit of property maintenance including bucking downed trees.

I got a dewalt drill and impact driver set as a gift in 2012 and that basically inadvertently got me into their battery system so all my battery stuff is currently dewalt. So far I’ve been pleased with all of them.

Look at the other member's spaces and see where their Merit Badge section is.  You can find a complete list.  Click on your name.  Look under available awards.  Badges are just a game we play.  Best wishes.  G

I'm not sure if badges show on tapatalk... I use the mobile version of the site and can see them.

I'm not sure that throwing tomatoes has a badge, friend zoidberg (lower case letters).  If I had your pretty 2 cylinder Echo, I think I would try for a chainsaw badge.  Might have to anyway.  Best wishes.  Gary
