Dual Force Issues

New to the group

i purchased the dual force from bass pro shops.  After having it about a week the slip jointed plyers got stuck and will not slide back in the smaller position.  Anyone else have this issue? 

On a positive note, i contacted Gerber and they replaced the unit extremely fast, including a sheath.
