84mm Scissor Petition Hits 100!

Yes, the petition asking Vic to bring back 84mm scissor models has now reached 100 signatures.

This is particularly impressive when you consider that I only advertised it here and on one other forum.

If this topic is of interest to you, using a signature like mine on other forums where it might be of interest would be a great way to help spread the scissor fever.

After all, who knows how many signatures we could get with 3 forums instead of just 2?

Did you know that every 10 minutes, an 84mm Golfer goes missing after being confiscated by the TSA? The cause is urgent people!

What happens to all the sharps they take? I've seen a few on ebay but is there another place which auctions then off or anything?

I've only seen them on eBay.

The SAKs I have coming (Sig Lite and Minichamp for $15 total) were TSA forfeitures.

The seller I got them from always has new TSA forfeiture SAKs. I think the TSA auctions/sells them off in lots and then they get broken up and resold/auctioned off.

I contacted the Canadian agency in charge of confiscations and they told me that each airport is free to handle confiscated items as they please.

They said that most airports they knew of just throw everything away, but that you would have to contact the airport in question to make certain.
