You've all already seen my mug in my avatar.  I get pictures taken every so often for promos since I'm a musician, so my shots are always a little too "glamorous".  Here's some normal.

First one is in my history show garb at my summer job at the Royal Gorge Bridge.

Second one is with my old tomcat who's probably not long for this world called Poudre.

665ae,

I didn't know you were a player.  What kind of basses are those?

Dean Edge Q4 on the stand and a Dean Playmate EAB in my lap. (electric/acoustic)

I posted that pic just for you Tom.  I now begin my quest to play bass for Atomic Munch and the Fireballs!

I think its the Multitool.org archives section where Def can often be seen staggering around with a bottle of brandy in his hand  :D

I'll try to post a better looking pic of me someday- one where my stand-in isn't sick!

I wish.

It's actuallly a Wolf-Eyes mini-turbo 9M Cobra. I use this light mainly because it can use full-size 18500 rechargeable Li-Ion batteries so I can explore on the cheap without wasting Lithium Primaries that cost @2.00$ each.

I picked it up second hand so it is also a lot cheaper than a Surefire in case it gets lost, stolen, etc.

The first picture above was actually taken to show off how much brighter Wolf-Eyes new lamp assembly was. At the time they had just come out with new 9 Volt lamps that were putting out @160 lumens at 1 Hour of runtime. This being a vast improvement over their previous lamps I took the photo to compare old vs. new. Too bad I lost the old picture; those old Wolf-Eyes lamps were vastly underpowered compared to the new.

Sort of right on one count.

It was an abandoned High School for about 30-35 years before an artist friend of mine bought the property about 3 years ago and is currently in the process of restoring/rebuilding/rethinking the entire estate. Having been built in 1929 with all of the architecture inside being original the school is a wonder to explore alone. Things creak and crack, the wind produces odd noises, there are numerous little crevices and tiny rooms to explore. It really is an awesome place to wander around after dark with a little rum and a lot of contemplation.

Here's a crappy map (too give you some idea of how large the place is the cafeteria is the size of a football field; about 100X50 yards):

I don't want to hijack this thread so I'll post some of the reams and reams of pictures I have in the break room over the next few days so anyone interested can check it out.

I'll just make sure my pic is Decembers so folks won't get turned off until it's too late! :D
