Who EDC's a LM Charge? If so, what model and why...

Does anyone here EDC a LM Charge? If so, why do you choose that particular model? Thanks

I have been carrying a TTi a lot lately.. I like the Ti scales, S30V blade, cutting hook, and scissors.. I put a Wave plier head on my EDC TTi because I have no use for the crimpers.. If on a rare occasion I needed to crimp, I would use the back of the saw and serrated blade; works better than the SwissTool's "crimper"!  :D

EDIT: I also like the OH blade access.. I don't really carry multi-tools without OHO blades anymore..  :)

I recently switched to a Charge TTi as my EDC from a New Wave.  I loved the New Wave and had it broken in perfectly, but the TTi just feels a little better, and I love the gut hook.  I also have no use for the Cap Crimper so I bought a Charge Ti off the bay to see if I like it better.

If I EDC a multitool its usually a Charge ALX, however, I have recently started carrying the TTi half the time. So, its 50/50 on the TTi/ALX.

I, unlike others have a lot of use for the crimpers. I am constantly crimping wires throughout the day at work.

I never really considered a Charge.  I thought it was just a tarted up Wave.  While I like Wave as a tool, it always strikes me as heavy for EDC.  I really like the New Wave tool selection however.

I got a Charge ALX in an auction lot and I have to say, I am really impressed with it.  I'm definitely going to give it a go as EDC.  I'm not too sure about 3 bit drivers,  but the OH blades and diamond file are really nice.

The tool somehow feels significantly lighter and has a really nice finished feel.

I seriously misjudged the Charge ALX

Me too! I've been edc'ing the Charge ALX for about a week and I really love it. It suits my needs perfectly...  :tu:

I EDC a TTi. I like the "feel" of carrying one!  The TTi is surely above the rest of the Multitools around!

A Charge TTi is part of my EDC as well, but sometimes it's place is taken by a PST, a Sideclip, or a SwissTool.

I used to EDC a Ti, then gave it to my bro and got a TTi for me. I EDC'ed it for a couple of years but utterly got delegated to being my dedicated out-and-about MT, with a Spirit taking its place as my EDC tool.

Thanks dude. I just "improved" it some. Now it's a Victorinox SI BO Spirit on top of a Northrop Grumman B2 Spirit. A better match, don't you think? :D

The TTi is part of my MT rotation. When I carry it I usually also carry the bit kit and extention.
What? Enablers! Are you serrrrious? Where? I dont see any.

I still EDC my TTi.

I've tried to replace it, as it's not legal in the UK to carry, but it's the best tool ever made and keeps edging itself back in there.

Oh - why? Because it cost far too much to lie idle.

I used to come here a lot.

I have done (an ALX) but I like to EDC a OH folder so the OH blades on the Charge weren't really necessary.  Also the legal implications here made it difficult to carry.
I'm back!!

Just carried my BO ALX for the first time today. I gotta say I'm loving that guthook blade. Makes short work of boxes and such. Guess I'll still have my Micra for when I really need those snips....

Oh ya, I forgot to say... I didn't sheath carry it, just used the pocket clip. Love that thing.

Even though I carry the TTi because it's got scissors, I actually have been carrying a Squirt S4 with it lately, which handle must things. I do find the scissors on the Charge to be better cutters though.

And I totally agree, the gut-hook is perfect for opening boxes.
I used to come here a lot.

Exactly. Not quite as good as a Spirit though, eh Dave?   :D  Nah, I love my Charge too.
